There is something about a smooth bezel on day-Dates, and the market is very well aware of that. These watches are hard to find, and the flat bezelel in place of the fluted one, involves a premium. This example from 1968 sports a stunning matte black dial with gold and white enamel markers. Probably one of the most beautiful 1802 I have ever seen.
