This 6239 has two very uncommon features: a Big Red on a non Oyster dial to begin with, and a black instead of the more common silver background to ice the cake. The case also appears to be unmolested as well as the bezel, all details that contribute to making a rare watch even more special. Black Big Red dials are very hard to come by on a black as well as silver dials as well. Black is just rarer than silver. Both were apparently adopted only on watches with a serial slightly below the 1.6M serial number.
