Patek Philippe Chronograph Ref. 533
-
Description
The ref 130 and 533 where basically the first two chronograph models manufactured by Patek Philippe in a larger scale. Both iconic to the watch collector, the 533 differs from the other model in that the bezel is flat, rather than concave, in a so called “coin” fashion. 330 examples were produced between 1937 and 1957, almost all of them in rose gold, followed by about half of them in yellow and a handful in other metals. This exceptional example was manufactured in 1947.
